Kate Vantucci found yoga at a young age. When she was little, her dream was to work in a job where she didn’t have to wear shoes. Little did she know that some 20 years later that dream would come true. In 2006 she entered teacher training and in 2007 she began teaching. From there she has trained in Kids Yoga, Mommy and Me, and dabbled (very briefly) in aerial yoga.
Known for her fun, yet challenging vinyasa flow classes, Kate has always found joy in connecting with her students. She believes that the traditional practices of yoga still hold powerful benefits today and she strives to bring those benefits to her students while keeping a sense of humor about the process. With a new found love of swimming, biking, and running, Kate has a special place in her teaching for the athlete looking to find their competitive edge through the practice of yoga.
A native to Western New York, Kate spent 15 years living outside of Manhattan. She and her family moved back to the area in December of 2013. When not on the mat, she is chasing around after her two young sons and doing her best to live what she teaches.
